 About Social Mommies

Who is Social Mommies?

Social Mommies was started in hopes of creating a new look at mom and parenting sites. We are parents who are tired of hearing "ask the experts". We fully believe in the expert but what about the parents out there dealing with the same things? We wanted to hear from the other parents out there in the world.

Why Social Mommies?

Social Mommies offers many features. We have forums for all kinds of discussions. All of the site is produced by the other parents who visit our site. We value everyone's opinion and hope you will to. Social Mommies is what you make it!

How do I submit an article or review?

You can vist this link to fill out our submission form. Vist this link for a complete terms of service for guidelines on what you can or can not post to our website. After you've submitted your article or review we will review it. This review process usually takes less than 24 hours, please allow up 72 hours for us to approve it.

What's up with the forums?

Our forums are built on the premise of free speech and being uncensored. We feel that even though we are moms and dads, we are still people with opinions and views outside of parenting. We also feel that censoring bad language isn't always best. We want you to feel comfortable to speak freely with out having to fear the admins and moderators. We believe in free speech but we do not believe in hate, racism, bigotry, or discrimination of any kind. We ask that things of this nature are not on our site, and not allowed on our forums. We ask that you conduct yourself as an adult and agree to disagree. Please visit our Terms of Service page to find out what you can or can not post to our forums.

Who's behind the scenes?

The website is maintained by mommies just like you. We've taken the time to put together a great site. Social Mommies is hosted by our friends at Make The Web. The moderators in the forums are members just like you. Everyone involved is a parent just like you!
